The Latest on Dale

From Mike Farrell of Rivals.com: “Big run stuffing DT very strong at the point of attack and has some athleticism to him. Not an elite pass rusher but can push the pocket and run some plays down in the run game. Holds up blockers and frees up teammates very well for the most part.”

The Latest On Harris

From Chad Simmons: “Harris is a long, lean edge rusher who is likely going to be a stand-up linebacker in the Alabama defense. He excels with speed off the edge. He has a good first step and when he turns the corner, he can really close on the quarterback. He has to get stronger and add weight and that should come in time. Against the run, he has to get better at the point of attack and improve his ability to shed blocks. He is all about potential and upside. His work ethic combined with his natural ability makes you think he is going to succeed at the next level.”

The Latest on Kight

Kight is one of the best players in the state (currently ranked No. 4). He was outstanding at the Rivals Camp in Atlanta in April. He earned an invitation to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge this summer. He is ranked No. 101 in the Rivals250. Kight should see a major rise in the next round of rankings after his performance in Atlanta. His stock will continue to climb with a great showing at the Five-Star Challenge.

The Latest on Bowles

"I enjoyed talking to them (players/recruits) and also Coach Key seems like the type of coach I want to play for. They said they believe I can play all five (positions on the OL).

The latest on Tagovailoa

From Chad Simmons

"What I like most is his attitude and how competitive is. He has a fiery attitude, and he commands the huddle, he holds his teammates to being accountable and he is going to do all he can to lead his team. His arm strength jumps out immediately and he has a nice, short, compact release. He spins the ball well, he can throw with touch and he can buy time in the pocket. I’ve seen him on the big stage, and he loves the moment. He is a gamer that plays with a lot of fire and is a natural leader."

The Latest on Lee

Ranked as the no. 36 player in the Country by Rivals.com, Lee will provide a crucial inside linebacker commitment to the Class of 2019. At 6-foot-0, 235 pounds, Lee has a frame that is similar to Alabama sophomore Dylan Moses. An interesting note is that Lee is from the same high school as Alabama 2018 commitment Eyabi Anoma.

The Latest on Williams

From Chad Simmons: Alabama is getting a cornerback with length, quickness, athleticism and true upside. You see his quickness and speed instantly when watching his tape because he was asked to play a lot of wide receiver last year due to team needs. His ball skills are strong and he is not scared to stick his hat in there against the run or if he's asked to blitz off the corner.
