Georgia Southern, one of the top football programs in the former Division I-AA, has announced a single-game contract to play against Alabama in 2011.

The game will be held on Nov.19, 2011, according to Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Sam Baker. GSU also announced a one-year deal to play at Georgia Tech in 2015.

Alabama and Georgia Southern have never faced each other in football. The Eagles, of the Southern Conference, have won eight SoCon Championships.

The Crimson Tide announced a two-year deal with Michigan State earlier this week for 2016 and 2017.
