Next Saturday No. 1 Alabama will take on No. 3 Florida State in college football's biggest opener of the season. Today, we rewind on Alabama's last 10 openers.

2016 - Alabama 52, Southern California 6 

Date: 3 September 2016

Location: AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas

Key Stat line: Alabama racks up 465-yards of total offense to USC's 194-yards

Key Players: Damien Harris ran for 138-yards, ArDarius Stewart caught for 113-yards, and two touchdowns, Jalen Hurts was 6/11 passing for 118-yards with two touchdowns.

2015 - Alabama 35, Wisconsin 17 

Date: 6 September 2015

Location: Arlington, Texas

Key Stat Line: Alabama holds Wisconsin to 40-yards rushing while rushing for 238-yards and four touchdowns.

Key Players: Derrick Henry ran for 147-yards and three-touchdowns, Jake Coker was 15/21 passing for 213-yards and one touchdown hitting nine different receivers.

2014 - Alabama 33, West Virginia 23 

Date: 30, August 2014

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Key Stat Line: Alabama is 9-16 on 3rd down efficiency racking up a total of 538-yards of offense.

Key Players: Blake Sims is 24/33 passing for 250-yards, T.J. Yeldon rushes for 126-yards and two touchdowns, Derrick Henry rushes for 113-yards, and Amari Cooper caught for 12-receptions for 130-yards.

2013 - Alabama 35, Virginia Tech 10 

Date: 31 August 2013

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Key Stat Line: Alabama's defense holds Virginia Tech Quarterback Logan Thomas to 5 of 26 passing for 59-yards.

Key Players: AJ McCarron 10/23 for 110-yards with one touchdown, T.J. Yeldon ran for 17 carries for 75-yards, and one touchdown, Christian Jones returned a kick 72-yards for a touchdown.

2012 - Alabama 41, Michigan 14 

Date: 2 September 2012

Location: Arlington, Texas

Key Stat Line: Alabama's defense forced three interceptions

Key Players: AJ McCarron 11/21 passing for 199-yards and two touchdowns, T.J. Yeldon ran for 111-yards and one touchdown, C.J. Mosley returned interception 16-yards for a touchdown

2011 - Alabama 48, Kent State 7

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Key Stat Line: Alabama throws four interceptions, still manages to out-gain Kent State 482-90 in total yardage.

Key Players: AJ McCarron was 14/23 passing for 226-yards with one-touchdown, Trent Richardson ran for 13 carries for 37-yards and three touchdowns, Marquis Maze caught for 118-yards and one touchdown.

2010 - Alabama 48, San Jose 3

Key Stat Line: Alabama's balanced offense accounts for 591-yards of total yardage, 335-yards passing, and 257-yards rushing.

Key Stat Line: Alabama's offense racks up 419-yards, the defense allows just 188-yards, and forced two turnovers.

Key Players: John Parker-Wilson was 22 of 30 passing for 180-yards and two touchdowns, Mark Ingram ran for 96-yards, Glen Coffee ran for 90-yards, Leigh Tiffin was 4/5 kicking field goals, longest of 54-yards.
