DON'T MISS: Signing Day Coverage on BamaInsider.com
Alabama flipped Jordan Battle from Ohio State on Wednesday. The Rivals.com Four-star out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida had been committed to Ohio State since June 29, but a recent strong push from Alabama changed the mind of a very talented safety. Recruited by Joe Pannunzio, Battle is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect that analysts compare to current Alabama junior Deionte Thompson.
Ranked as the No. 17 player in the State of Florida, Battle is the fourth flip in the last month for the Crimson Tide following Christian Harris who flipped from Texas A&M, Jeffery Carter who flipped from Texas A&M, and Dax Hill who flipped from Michigan.
Andrew Bone weighed in on Battle’s commitment to the Crimson Tide early Wednesday morning, “Not sure why people think Alabama took Jordan Battle because Dax Hill is not singing today. Battle has been heavily recruited by the Crimson Tide for a long time. The two players have absolutely nothing to do with each other.”
