Alabama basketball continued its influx of talent Wednesday night as the Crimson Tide landed a commitment from Texas forward Tevin Mack. The former four-star recruit confirmed the news on his Twitter account, tweeting "Roll Tide."

Mack, 6-foot-7, 220 pounds, averaged 14.8 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game last season. He was suspended indefinitely in January for an unspecified violation of team rules and was released by the Longhorns in March after requesting a transfer. Mack was rated as the No. 61 player overall in the 2015 class.

The Columbia, S.C., native would have to sit out next season due to NCAA rules but would have two years of eligibility remaining with the Tide beginning in the 2018-19 season.

Alabama officials were unable to be reached for further confirmation as of Thursday night, but head coach Avery Johnson posted a tweet reading #RTR shortly following Mack's Twitter confirmation.
