Alabama commit Slade Bolden earns 4th Star
Alabama commitment Slade Bolden, four-star athlete from West Monroe High School in Louisiana, gets an upgrade.“The versatile athlete does it all for his high school team, from playing quarterback to running back an even filling in on defense. But what finally helped Bolden earn his fourth star was his progression as a wide receiver, a position he dominated at during camp stops over the summer. The Alabama commit’s hands plus impressive speed showed that he belonged in the elite group of four-star athletes.” – Rivals.com Southeast recruiting analyst Woody Wommack

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — Emory Jones did all he could Saturday, but Franklin (Ga.) Heard County fell just short to Saraland (Ala.) in a 17-14 defeat. Jones not only played quarterback, but he lined up at safety, where he was in on a few tackles too.
Before the game started, the 6-foot-4, 179 pound dual-threat quarterback spoke with Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer. They talked about his nationally televised game, how things are going in Columbus (Ohio) and the conversation was upbeat.
