Saban gives updates on injured players heading into Week 4
The 3-2-1, What we learned about Alabama Football following Week 3
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Heading into its SEC opener against Vanderbilt on Saturday, Alabama learned what its schedule will look like next year as the SEC announced its football schedules for all 14 schools Tuesday.
After opening up its season on Sept. 1 in a neutral-site game against Louisville in Orlando, Fla., Alabama will return to Bryant-Denny Stadium the following week for its home opener against Arkansas State.
The Crimson Tide will begin its conference slate in Week 3 with a trip to Ole Miss on Sept. 15. Alabama will then return home for its SEC home-opener against Texas A&M the following week. After a non-conference home game against Louisiana-Lafayette, Alabama will travel to Arkansas before returning home to face Missouri.
The “Third Saturday of October” rivalry will be held on Oct. 20 as Alabama travels to Tennessee. The Tide will have a bye the following week before traveling to LSU on Nov. 3. After that, Alabama closes out its schedule with three straight home games, going up against Mississippi State and Citadel before ending its regular season against Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 24.
