1. Reuben Foster being sent home

Do not know all the details. Know it was bizarre. From reports that have surfaced Foster had an argument with a hospital worker, then was asked to head back to Tuscaloosa. Foster did get measured and checked in at 6-foot-0, 229 pounds, 10 1/4 hands, and his arms were measured at 32 3/8. On Friday, March 3rd at 9:30 PM Adam Schefter of ESPN tweeted the following, “Bama’s Rueben Foster, a potential top-10 pick is being sent home from the combine for a heated argument with a hospital worker.” That is bizarre and not something you want to headline along side your name just a month before the NFL Draft. Foster who totaled 115 tackles for Alabama during the 2016 season is listed as the 27th overall pick by Bucky Brooks who is a NFL Media Analyst, but No. 5 by Daniel Jeremiah who is another NFL Network Analyst. Foster will be present at Alabama’s Pro-Day which is schedule for Wednesday, March 8th. We’ll be eager to hear his side of the story and report back.

2. O.J. Howard proved how dynamic he is

His measurements read 6-foot-5 3/4, 251 pounds, 10-inch hands, and a wingspan of 80 5/8. Howard who many fans feel was underutilized this past season, showed out this weekend at the NFL Combine with some incredible testing numbers and on the field work. First, he benched 225 pounds 22 times, then he ran a 40-time of 4.51 (2nd fastest 40-time of the tight ends), had a vertical jump of 30.0 inches, and a broad jump of 121.0. Bucky Brooks, Daniel Jeremiah, Lanch Zieiein, and Charley Casserly all of the NFL Network have Howard going as the first tight end in the draft, Jeremiah has him highest at No. 12, Casserly has him at No. 32. While it’s no surprise that he is projected as the first tight end off the board, it’s surprising more analysts do not have him inside the 15-20 range, after watching his performance, he’s a day one starter, and a day one impact player.
