Tracking Alabama players at the combine on Saturday

Saturday marked Day 3 of on-field workouts as defensive linemen and linebackers took the stage. Here is a roundup of how Alabama's representatives did on the day.

What Tua Tagovailoa's Alabama teammates said about him at the NFL Combine

DL Raekwon Davis

Vertical jump: 28
Broad jump:111
40-yard dash: 5.12

Measurements
Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 311 pounds
Arms: 33 and 7/8 inches
Hands: 11 inches

Outlook
Davis' 40-yard dash time of 5.12 seconds wasn't impressive, only six of the 38 defensine linemen to run were slower, but perhaps that is to be expected with his larger frame. Davis did however finish eighth among defensive linemen in both the broad and vertical jumps.

As was the case before the combine, Davis' size makes him a prospect with a high ceiling, but his production on the field leaves much to be desired. How much teams value his potential over his past will determine how high he gets selected in the draft.

LB Anfernee Jennings

Jennings did not participate in combine drills.

Measurements
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 256 pounds
Arms: 32 and 7/8 inches
Hands: 9 and 1/8 inches

Outlook

Jennings did not participate in combine drills this week, electing to wait until Alabama’s Pro Day on March 24 to work out in front of scouts. He did take part in interviews with teams and measured in at 6-foot-2, 256 pounds during weigh-ins.

The interesting thing about Jennings is his versatility. He played at the Jack linebacker position at Alabama but talked about the possibility to move inside to Mike linebacker in the NFL. Jennings worked a bit at inside linebacker during the Senior Bowl in January and talked about relaying play calls this week at the combine.

“I kinda did that at 'Bam,” he said via The Draft Network. “Not being a MIKE, but at my position, especially last year with us having young guys who stepped up at inside linebacker, I had to be somebody that could communicate calls across the board. So it was really an easy transition.”

That mixture of versatility and leadership could help create a bit more value for Jennings moving forward.

LB Terrell Lewis

Vertical jump: 37
Broad jump: 124
Measurements

Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 262
Arms: 33 and 7/8 inches
Hands: 9 and 7/8 inches

Outlook

Like Jennings, Lewis held out most of his drills for Alabama’s Pro Day. The 6-foot-5, 262-pound pass-rusher has the measurables that NFL teams desire and should be able to flash his explosiveness next month.

Lewis did participate in both the broad jump and the vertical on Saturday. He ranked seventh among linebackers with a 37-inch vertical and tied for ninth among his position with a 124-inch broad jump. While we’ll have to see more from Lewis moving forward, he certainly passes the eye test as an NFL linebacker.
