TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — It all comes down to this. College football’s biggest rivalry will be hit with an added layer of drama Saturday as No. 1 Alabama travels to No. 6 Auburn in one of the most anticipated Iron Bowls in recent years.
Not only are the two in-state rivals both ranked in the top 10, Saturday’s game will decide who wins the SEC West and earns a spot in the SEC Championship against Georgia next week. It will also factor heavily into the College Football Playoff rankings as both teams are still in the hunt for one of the four playoff spots.
Saturday’s game will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally by CBS. Auburn will also be the host of this weeks College Gameday, which will air from 8-11 a.m. CT on ESPN.
