Alabama has dominated the NFL Draft the past two years and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
The Crimson Tide had a nation’s best 12 players selected in this year’s draft, setting an SEC record while raising its previous school best of 10 from last year. Alabama also tied the SEC record with four first-round selections, marking the second straight year and fourth time in school history it has accomplished that feat.
Could the Crimson Tide make it three straight years of double-digit selections and four first rounders next year? According to a couple early mock drafts, it certainly seems possible. Both Bleacher Report and Sporting News have four Alabama players going in the first round of next year’s draft, while CBS Sports has three Crimson Tide players selected and Walter Football has two. Like this past year, Alabama will also have several players with mid-round talent who will be draft eligible after next season.
Here is a look at 10 Alabama players who could be selected in next year’s NFL draft.
Jonah Williams, OT
Jonah Williams is the first Alabama player off the board according to most mock drafts and might be the best offensive tackle in next year’s draft. He was one of two offensive linemen in ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.’s top 10 players of 2019, coming in at No. 9 on that list while Ole Miss offensive tackle Greg Little was just ahead at No. 6.
Williams will most likely remain at left tackle this season and will be an anchor on one of the most talented offensive lines in the country. Alabama is also poised to have one of its most explosive offenses in program history which could put up some impressive numbers. Given the offensive lineman’s football knowledge and versatility, he should have NFL teams salivating over him by this time next year.

Raekwon Davis, DL
Raekwon Davis would probably be the first Alabama player taken in next year’s draft if it wasn’t for what projects to be an absolutely stacked defensive line class. He ranks No. 9 in Kiper’s top 10 for 2019 and is one of five defensive linemen on the list, joining Houston’s Ed Oliver (No. 1), Ohio State’s Nick Bosa (No. 2), Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell (No. 3) and Michigan’s Rashan Gary (No. 10).
Still, the 6-foot-7 defensive end is going to be hard for NFL teams to pass up. Davis led Alabama with 8.5 sacks last season and finished second on the team with 10 tackles for a loss. He also came up big in the College Football Playoff, combining for 10 tackles, three for a loss, with two sacks and an interception.
