The commitment Vernon Jackson, three-star athlete from Boling High School in Texas, announced his commitment on Friday to the University of Alabama. Jackson chose Alabama instead of Texas A&M and TCU. Jackson has been a private commitment to the Crimson Tide for a few weeks. His original plan was to announce his commitment to Alabama a few weeks ago prior to Hurricane Harvey hitting the state of Texas. Jackson held off from announcing his decision and decided it was best to wait until today.
