TBT: Bama stars ready for NFL draft
It's safe to say Rivals knocked it out of the park when it came to ranking the Alabama 2017 NFL draft prospects. We take a look back at the recruitment of the top Crimson Tide players expected to be selected in the NFL draft this week. The featured players are Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, O.J. Howard, Marlon Humphrey, Cam Robinson, Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams, Dalvin Tomlinson and ArDarius Stewart.
Alabama started establishing a presence in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area after signing players like Cyrus Jones (2012), Cyrus Kouandjio (2011) and Arie Kouandjio (2010). Allen named Alabama one of his top two schools along with Florida early in his recruitment. He took a few trips to Tuscaloosa before committing in May prior to his senior season. He remained very solid with the Tide throughout the remainder of his recruitment.
