Six Tide players sign as NFL free agents

After eight former University of Alabama football players were selected in the NFL Draft over the weekend, six more had signed free-agent contracts by Sunday.

Wide receiver Marquis Maze had an agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers, while Darius Hanks signed with Washington. The Tennessee Titans signed linebacker Alex Watkins and center William Vlachos. Offensive lineman Alfred McCullough struck a deal with the Baltimore Ravens, and defensive back Phelon Jones signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
