Amari Kight, 2019 Rivals100 offensive tackle from Thompson High School in Alabama, was one of several prospects in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. He is one of the premier juniors in the state.
"It was good," Kight said of his return visit to Alabama. "I just came down to watch them practice. They looked really good. They look ready to have a good season.
"I just watched most of the offensive line. I had a chance to talk to Coach Key and Coach Saban. Coach Key was glad I came down. Coach Saban expressed how I have gotten better from the last time I was down there."
Kight expects a great game between Alabama and Florida State on Saturday in Atlanta. He did not offer a prediction.
Alabama extended Kight a scholarship offer earlier this summer. The Crimson Tide remains a pstrong early contender.
"I like how the team is looking so far," he said. "They continue to get better. I really like the coaching staff."
