Pierce Quick, 2019 offensive tackle from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama, has earned 10 scholarship offers including one on Tuesday evening from LSU. He also has one from Alabama. He was in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday afternoon for the first day of spring practice for the Crimson Tide.

"It was great," Quick said. "It was wonderful to see the coaches again and getting to see them practice. It was a lot of fun.

"They looked great for sure. I loved being there. I think they are going to be really good this year. They have three really good quarterbacks."

Quick received an offer from Alabama during Junior Day last month. He enjoyed spending time again with the coaching staff.

"I talked to Coach Saban, Coach Key and all the coaches," he said. "Coach Saban said he was just glad to have me back down here. We joked around a little bit and talked.

"I love Coach Key. He is a great person and coach. He actually graduated from my high school. We have a close relationship. I really like him a lot."

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman was excited when an offer came through from the in-state SEC school.

"It was incredible," Quick said about receiving an Alabama offer. "It was a dream come true to get an offer from Alabama. I grew up an Alabama fan. For coach Saban to offer me was just a dream.

"It's been crazy ever since they offered me. I have had different schools from all over the country contacting me. It has been a dream come true. I love it. For it to be so early makes it even better.

What has his attention from the Tide?

"I love how they (Alabama) are a winning program," he said. "Winning is the expectation- go to the national championship and do the stuff they do is expected. I like that. I came to all the games when I was young. Being a recruit now and having the chance to play there is amazing."

Quick is also receiving heavy interest from Clemson. He will visit Georgia on Saturday and Tennessee next Saturday.

He will attend the Rivals Three Stripe Camp in Atlanta on April 23.
