Pierce Quick, 2019 Rivals100 offensive tackle from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama, is one of the premier players in his class. Quick gave an early commitment to Alabama, his lifelong dream, and has been dominant at each camp since his decision. He was invited to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in Indianapolis this weekend after an impressive performance at the Rivals Camp in St. Louis.

Quick attended Alabama's camp on Sunday and remained in Tuscaloosa through Tuesday. He has been on Alabama's commitment list for a few months, but there are still some things he hasn't accomplished as a high school player. He knocked off another bucket list item this week as he worked with his future offensive line coach (Brent Key).

"It was great," Quick said. "I did the camp on Sunday afternoon. It was really good to have Coach Key coach me. I wasn't recruited by Alabama last year. I wasn't in the good group.

"This year I was in the A group, and for him to work with me, coach me and teach me his techniques the whole time was awesome. It felt good being out there. It kind of verified things a little bit more for me.

"On Monday morning, I ran 16 110s (110 yard sprints) with the team. It was fun hanging out with them. It was a good time for sure. I would say the highlight of the trip was just being there. I can't say one thing was better than the other. It was just fun being there."

There is no doubt Quick is a very vocal recruiter for the Crimson Tide. He spent time with different prospects who were on campus including a top offensive lineman.

"I hung out with Penei Sewell every single day," he said. "He loved it. I think he is built for Bama. He fits in so well. He is a Bama-type guy. I also hung out with Cameron Latu. I think he had a really good time.

"I talked to Evan Neal. He was committed to Alabama last year. He still really loves Bama. He didn't work out because he pulled a hamstring. Jalen Cunningham was out there. He stubbed his toe early, so he didn't really work out after that.

"I was around Coynis Miller and Allen Love a lot. Coynis had a really good day on Sunday. Allen was spectacular. Every rep in 1-on-1s he wouldn't come off the field. He took as many reps as he could. He did every thing he could to get an offer. "

Quick will fly to Indianapolis on Friday for the Rivals Five-Star Challenge.
