Cam'Ron Jackson, 2020 defensive tackle from Haynesville High School in Louisiana, was one of several top players from the Pelican State in attendance for Junior Day.

"It was a great experience," Jackson said. "It was my first time in T-Town. Just the overall experience being in a special place like that you enjoy just about everything."

Jackson is recruited by new Alabama defensive back coach, Karl Scott. He spent most of the time with him during the visit. He also met with Head Coach Nick Saban.

"Coach Scott was just telling me how much they like me there in Tuscaloosa and telling me how great of a kid I am," he said. "He’s going to be recruiting me, and he’s definitely a great coach and person. I spoke with Coach Saban. We also had a really great talk."

Jackson received his first offer in January from the University of Alabama. He also recently added an offer from Texas A&M.

"I like the championship tradition and history," Jackson replied when asked what stands out about Alabama. "I also like the consistency year after year."

Jackson plans on returning to Alabama for the A-Day game on April 21.
