NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Alabama started its conference schedule the way it has the past 12 seasons — with a win. The Crimson Tide won its 13th straight SEC opener Saturday, blowing out Vanderbilt 59-0. Alabama scored its most points since a 63-7 win over Georgia State in 2010 while recording its first shutout of the season. In what was one of the Tide’s most dominating performances in school history, it outgained the Commodores 677-78.
