Quick backstory. On Sunday, May 14 before the Alabama and Florida baseball game, Chais Billings who has been overseas while serving in the Alabama National Guard surprised his wife Amanda and two children. Noah throws out the first pitch of the game unknowingly to his father Chais who is behind the plate. Watch with tissues close by.

Isaiah Buggs grinding

Alabama Defensive Lineman Isaiah Buggs is on many fan lists to be the new impact player for the Crimson Tide during the 2017 season. In a video posted just days ago by Buggs himself, the 6-foot-5, 292-pound new addition to the team from Gulf Coast Community College is seen working on his craft. No breaks if you want to start at Alabama.

Alabama in Top 12 for Joiner

6-foot-3, 213 pound Harold Joiner revealed his top 12 on Mother’s Day. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas, Michigan State, UCLA, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, TCU, Ole Miss, and Baylor made the cut and in the photo below a caption reads in no particular order. In today’s recruiting wold, prospects reveal a top 12, then a top six, top two until they finally make a commitment. So obviously, we’re still far away from a Joiner commitment, but Alabama is recruiting him heavily, but we hear he could be a Auburn or LSU lean.

DeVonta Smith

One of our favorite posters on BamaInsider.com Bama#15 posted a video of DeVonta Smith. Smith will be arriving in Alabama this summer and the 6-foot-1, 160 pound receiver has an incredible highlight. It’s quite amazing that Alabama will only continue to add dangerous weapons to the offensive side of the football. While a lot of the focus from the remaining incoming class of 2017 has been on Henry Ruggs, Smith is a straight play-maker as well.

6-foot-8, 260-pound Quarterback?

During the weekend, the Rivals Camp Series presented by adidas stopped in Central Ohio where top prospects from across the Country showed their talents. Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst Woody Wommack tweeted out a photo of Cameron Jones, a 6-foot-8, 260-pound quarterback, yes quarterback out of Knott County Central High School in Hindman, Kentucky. Jones has a lot of work to do after watching his tape, but “Big Cam” as he’s known as has thrown for 4,882-yards and 50-touchdowns during his freshman and sophomore season. He’s only going to be a junior this year.

Micah Parsons at 240 pounds runs 100M time of 11.1

Alabama is recruiting Micah Parsons, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Recently it was reported that Parsons and Alabama Football Coach Nick Saban spent 40-minutes on the phone. On May 13, 2017, Parsons ran a blazing 11.19 100M time during the Pennsylvania State Track and Field Meet. Keep in mind he’s nearly 240 pounds in the video. Five-Stars are going to Five-Star.

Former Alabama Defensive Back Eddie Jackson Press Conference

Former Alabama Defensive Back Eddie Jackson recently gave a press conference with the Chicago Bears and gave some insight into what he is taking with him from Alabama and who he talks to about bettering his overall game. Worth a watch.

From The Odd: Ben Bryant gets offer yanked

In a very strange story over the last few days, Ben Bryant a Class of 2018 quarterback out of Lyons, Illinois had been committed to Wisconsin for quite some time. Then recently he received an offer from Georgia, that is when things got really strange. After Bryant announced he received an offer from Georgia, according to Bryant, Wisconsin told him to look elsewhere. More from the Wisconsin Rivals Site Here
