Clark is Bama Bound

Alabama picked up a big pledge Tuesday when Jeremy Clark announced he was heading to Alabama. Clark, a 6'3 260 pound defensive tackle from Alabama 6A state champion Daphne is the Tide's 15th public commitment for the 2002 recruiting class.

Clark follows a pair of former Daphne teammates, Kenny King and Atlas Herrion, to attend college at Alabama.

The addition of Clark fills a need at defensive tackle for Alabama. Previously Alabama had secured commitments from Prattville's Kyle Tatum. Today another potential Bama target, TJ Jackson committed to Auburn. JC defensive tackle Jimmy Williams is expected to announce his college destination after his visit this weekend to Virginia Tech.
