Chuck Davis verbals to Bama
Southside High School power forward Chuck Davis has verbally committed to Alabama. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Selma, Alabama native selected Alabama over LSU and UAB. Davis also had scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Georgia Tech.
"I was real interested in LSU and UAB and it was a real hard decision, but Alabama was close to home and it always felt like it was the place for me," said Davis.

Davis helped his team to a 25-4 record and averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and 8 block shots during his junior season. Davis is an excellent student and is fully qualified.
