BONE: Mizzou TE commitment in regular contact with Alabama

Ryan Hoerstkamp, three-star tight end from Washington High School in Missouri, committed to the University of Missouri in late April. He received an offer from Alabama in May and has been in contact ever since. Alabama is aiming to land a tight end in its 2021 class.

The Crimson Tide has yet to fill the need, but hoping to in the coming months. Hoerstkamp has never visited Tuscaloosa. He has learned plenty about the program in the last few months as Alabama has intensified its recruiting efforts.

"I talk to them on a weekly basis, and with all of the restrictions with COVID, they've done a real good job of showing me the place from home. I talk to Coach Roach a lot. I talked to him earlier this week. I have also talked to Coach Saban as well as Coach Banks.

"They have really hit on everything. They've talked about family at Alabama and making sure that we know that I'll be taken care of down in Alabama as if I were at home."
