Don't Miss! Four-star QB likes winning tradition at Alabama
Alabama just completed one of its biggest recruiting weekends of the year! The Crimson Tide continue to put itself in very strong position with elite targets.
Bone's 10 Recruiting ThoughtsÂ
1. Alabama hosted four official visitors this past weekend including two commitments- Tommy Brown, four-star offensive tackle from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, and Slade Bolden, four-star athlete from West Monroe High School in Louisiana. Brown and Bolden are solid with the Crimson Tide.
The main focus is on the players Alabama hopes to get on board.Justin Fields, five-star quarterback from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, and Emil Ekiyor, four-star offensive tackle from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, made their way to Tuscaloosa for the weekend.
It was the second visit to Alabama for Fields. There is some interest, but it appears unlikely he is a part of Alabama's class. Alabama has two very good, young quarterbacks. Fields is not going to Alabama. Alabama is pushing hard for Ekiyor. Nick Saban, and Brent Key love this guy.
He has visited Alabama three times since his commitment to Michigan. Alabama believes the visit could not have been any better this past weekend. Ekiyor definitely has a big decision to make. He is wanted by the Crimson Tide. Alabama definitely has a chance to flip him.
2. An interesting visitor in Tuscaloosa on Saturday was Devin Brumfield, three-star running back from Covington High School in Louisiana. Alabama running backs coach Burton Burns watched Brumfield play on Friday night. The Texas Tech commitment is on Alabama's radar, but he does not have an offer at this time.
Another new name to keep an eye on is Chris Curry, three-star running back from Lehigh Acres High School in Florida. Alabama has serious interest (does not have any offer yet) in the LSU commitment. Things are not pretty on the Bayou.
