Football is back at Alabama, and that means an updated roster. The Crimson Tide freshened up its online roster to include its incoming transfers and 18 early erollees as well as new weights for its returning players.

There were a few notable weight changes, including Jah-Marien Latham (6-foot-3, 265 pounds), who dropped 13 pounds down and is now listed as a linebacker. Latham will be making the switch from the Bandit position to the Wolf role, where his new lighter frame should provide him with more mobility.

Starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor shed nine pounds from his 6-foot-7 frame and is now listed at 360 pounds. Other notable weight losses include starting edge rusher Qua Russaw, who is down 10 pounds to 6-foot-2, 241 pounds and starting inside linebacker Deontae Lawson, who dropped nine pounds and is now at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds.

Alabama also had a few players bulk up, including defensive lineman Jeremiah Beamon (6-4, 312), who added a team-high 16 pounds. Starting right guard Jaeden Roberts was next on the list, adding 15 pounds to put him at 6-foot-5, 325 pounds. He was followed by backup edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre, who is now up nine pounds to 6-foot-3, 248 pounds.

Alabama’s new roster also shows updated weights for the Tide’s 18 early enrollees. Among the newcomers, Fatutoa Henry, who previously went by Kevonte, put on the most weight, adding 26 pounds to bulk up to 6-foot-4, 248 pounds. Henry was one of five freshmen to add 20 or more pounds to their signing-day weights, joining tight end Marshall Pritchett (+24, 6-5, 235), linebacker Justin Hill (+22, 6-3, 242), linebacker Duke Johnson (+20, 6-1, 220) and offensive lineman Jackson Lloyd (+20, 6-7, 310).

A couple of previously undersized freshmen also put on significant weight, as five-star quarterback Keelon Russell beefed up 17 pounds up to 6-foot-3, 192 pounds, while receiver Lotzier Brooks added 18 pounds and is now listed at 5-foot-9, 188 pounds.

Five additional freshmen added 10 or more pounds, including safety Ivan Taylor (+15, 6-0, 195), running back AK Dear, (+10, 6-1, 210), linebacker Luke Metz (+10, 6-3, 230), offensive lineman Micah Debose (+10, 6-5, 325) and punter Alex Asparuhov (+10, 6-3, 200).
