Success

It has been nothing short of spectacular when it comes to Alabama recruiting outside of the Southeast. Alabama has reeled in top players from each region of the country. The Crimson Tide could potentially have more signees in the 2018 class from the West than from the state of Alabama.

Alabama has landed top players from the West such as All-American punter JK Scott from Colorado; former Alabama defensive tackle Jesse Williams was a transfer from Arizona Western. Alabama also reeled in quarterback Cooper Bateman who was considered a top player from Utah.

Blake Barnett was a major commitment for the Tide in 2015. Barnett opted to transfer the following year after Jalen Hurts won the starting quarterback job as a true freshman.
