Pierce Quick, 2019 Rivals100 offensive tackle from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama, is a great ambassador for the Crimson Tide. He is a solid commitment, and recruits players just about every day for Alabama.

Quick returned to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to see the Tide practice one final time prior to the game against Florida State next weekend.

"It was great," Quick said. "There were a lot of guys there. It was the first day guys were allowed back on campus. It was also a good time for coaches to keep the momentum going from the summer.

"They looked good during practice. Jalen (Hurts) was looking really good. Bo Scarbrough looked good out there. Bradley Bozeman definitely is the leader out there. There is no doubt about it.

"Jedrick Wills looked really good. I think he has done a good job at right tackle. Matt (Womack) may start on Saturday, but Jedrick will see the field this year. Jonah Williams also looked really good out there."

Quick wore his recruiting hat during the visit. He wears it often on social media and any time he is around prospects.

"I definitely talked to a lot of guys," he said. "I talked to Coynis Miller a lot. He was down there with his coaches. Kardell Thomas was there. I was recruiting all the guys from Trussville. I talked to Harold Joiner. I think we definitely have a shot with him with Asa (Martin) going to Auburn. I also talked to the LSU running back commitment (Tyrion Davis).

The 2019 verbal pledge is ready to see the Crimson Tide play this weekend. He will attend the game as a guest of his future team.

"I am ready to be there," Quick said. "I am excited. I can't wait to be there. I saw where someone said it's the best first opening match ever.

"I am not good at score predictions, but I think Bama wins. I am biased, but I think it's going to be a great game, and it will be a late game.

"I definitely think Alabama will have a great season. We sat down with Coach Saban. He told us that Florida State is looking really good. They have been studying them a lot. They have a really good team. Overall, I think we will win."
