LaBryan Ray, Rivals100 defensive end from James Clemens High School in Madison, Alabama, took his recruitment down to the wire in announcing his college decision on National Signing Day. It's been more than two months since Ray signed his letter of intent with the University of Alabama.

Chris Allen, four-star linebacker from Southern Lab High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, had a great year. He won a state championship, participated in the Under Armour All-America game and signed a football scholarship with the University of Alabama.

Brannon has been ready for Alabama his entire life

Hunter Brannon is ready to begin his career in Tuscaloosa as student and member of the University of Alabama football team. The former Cullman High School (graduated in December) lineman took Pre-calculus and English 101 at Wallace State this spring. He finished with an A in both classes. He has focused on school and preparing for his arrival at Alabama.

Rivals100 linebacker from Palm Beach Gardens High School in Florida, hoped to arrive in Tuscaloosa in January. He had to take a few additional classes before his arrival later this month. He is ready to join the squad in Tuscaloosa. "I've been ready to get to Alabama since I committed," Cowan said. "Just two more weeks. What it means now is I got to work. There is no more time to play around.

Help is on the way for Alabama's kicking game

Walk-on kicker Andy Pappanastos missed both his attempts from 31 and 38 yards respectively. Punter JK Scott had a better performance, hitting 3 of 4 attempts, including the game-winner from 30 yards out as time expired. However, he missed a 45-yard attempt, his only try from more than 40 yards out, late in the fourth quarter.

Mathis, four-star defensive tackle from Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana, is ready to enroll at the University of Alabama. The 2017 signee will arrive at the end of the month. "Everything is going pretty good," said Mathis. "I am just ready to get to Tuscaloosa. I am getting there shortly after Memorial Day. I am very excited about getting there. I am ready to get a good education, stay out of trouble and just play ball. That's what I am going to do."

Coach Spotlight: Jedrick Wills

Lafayette High School Head Coach Eric Shaw has seen a lot of talent in his years of coaching high school football. He is in his fourth year as the head coach at Lafayette in Lexington, Kentucky. He has one of the top players in country on his offensive line in five-star, Jedrick Wills. The Rivals100 member announced his commitment to the University of Alabama on Tuesday.
