Flipping a high school prospect or junior college player from one school commitment to another is common in recruiting. There are many reasons why this takes place. Most players are offered scholarships earlier in their high school careers which might lead to a change of heart, coaches leave programs, and some are made higher or less priorities for programs.

Alabama has lost commitments almost every year. The Tide has also flupped several key players throughout the years from other programs. Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry was once committed to Georgia. Butkus Award winner Reuben Foster was committed to Auburn and who can forget T.J. Yeldon's flip from the Tigers.

Think about some other big flips for the Crimson Tide: A'Shawn Robinson (Texas), Jarran Reed (Ole Miss), Ronnie Harrison (UNC), Josh Chapman (Auburn), Ross Pierscbacher (Iowa) and briefly Cyrus Kouandjio (Auburn).

Bama remains in the mix for top players currently committed elsewhere in the 2018 class. We take a look at some key targets.
