Christian Barmore's rise in the recruiting world happened quicker than most. An early Temple commit, Barmore backed off his commitment after he added offers from some of the nation's elite football programs. The Philadelphia (Pa.) Neumann-Goretti star's rise could be attributed to a switch from offensive tackle to defensive tackle.
After taking visits to schools like Maryland, Alabama, and Baylor, Barmore has committed to the Crimson Tide.
Barmore is just scratching the surface of his potential and a program like Alabama will be able to help him get as close to that potential as possible. He doesn't seem like the type of player that will shy away from competition at his position either. Barmore's quickness at the snap and relentless pursuit make him a mainstay in the backfield.
