TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama continued fall camp Wednesday with the first of two practices on the day at the Thomas-Drew practice fields. Here were some observations from Tidesports.com during the media viewing period:
*** The Duron Carter watch continues. The JuCo transfer wide receiver was not in attendance during individual drills. UA coach Nick Saban addressed the Carter situation Tuesday night. For more on that, check out the Tidesports.com Wednesday notebook.
*** Defensive lineman Undra Billingsley missed practice for the second consecutive day. Billingsley became ill Monday night and was hospitalized for testing.
*** Freshman offensive lineman Ryan Kelly (day to day) missed his second consecutive practice with an undisclosed injury. OL Arie Kouandjio (day to day) did participate in practice.
