Tuesday practice update

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama continued preparations for LSU Tuesday with a full-pads outdoor practice under ideal weather conditions at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility. Here are some observations from the media viewing period:
*** Fifth-year senior Alfred McCullough saw action at guard for the second consecutive day on Tuesday. McCullough made his first start of the season at guard against Tennessee, but has also been working at tackle in practice as well.

*** Freshman running back Dee Hart continues to look sharp in drill work with the running backs as he recovers from a knee injury, but still is wearing a black jersey (non-contact status).
*** Linebacker Alex Watkins continues to practice with his arm casted after suffering a broken arm against Tennessee. His playing status for the LSU game remains unclear, but he was expected to miss 2-3 weeks at the time of the injury.
*** UA is expected to practice in full pads again Wednesday (closed to public), to be followed by UA coach Nick Saban's Wednesday news conference.
