Tide Focus: Defensive backs

The University of Alabama is in need of defensive backs. Demarcus 'Dee' Milliner will possibly look to the NFL draft after this year. Deion Belue is a junior with one season remaining after this fall. A few underclassmen on the team include Bradley Sylve, John Fulton and Jabriel Washington who are in the mix. Geno Smith is a freshman who is in the rotation.

The coaching staff is seeking future help and eager to see a few standouts at the position. Alabama has commitments from Maurice Smith, four-star cornerback from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas, and Anthony Averett, three-star cornerback from Woodbury High School in New Jersey.
There's a chance Alabama may not sign another cornerback in this class, but also a possibility of adding one or two more at the position.
