The list of Alabama transfer departures climbed to 13 Monday as five-star freshman receiver Aaron Anderson was the latest member of the Crimson Tide to enter the portal. While players are still eligible to withdraw their names and return to the team, that doesn’t seem likely in Alabama’s case as it has already removed its transfer portal entrants from its online roster.
In total, the Crimson Tide has lost five linemen, four receivers, a running back, a defensive lineman, a defensive back and a backup punter to the portal. While those departures delivered a hit toward Alabama’s depth, they could open a few doors for potential breakout seasons.
