Story: Rivals250 DB Ronnie Harrison flips to Bama

Ronnie Harrison, four-star defensive back from Florida High School in Tallahassee, Fla., announced his decision on Tuesday afternoon. The long-time North Carolina commitment flipped his verbal pledge to Alabama.
Harrison attended Alabama's camp in June. He earned an offer from the Crimson Tide following his performance. The staff remained in heavy contact with Harrison after the trip to Tuscaloosa. He returned with his family after Alabama concluded its final camp in July.

"I spent the most time with Coach Thompson and Coach Smart," Harrison said after his last visit to Alabama. "They were just telling me what Alabama can do for me. They told me where I would fit in with the defense. They are recruiting me to play safety. They said I remind them of HaHa Clinton-Dix, just a little taller.
"I talked to Coach Saban. He was telling me how great Alabama is. He talked about all the programs they have to make sure guys are acting right. It's like a business there, and they act professional.
"Their staff is great. It's Nick Saban. Coach Smart is running the defense. They have first round DBs every year. Coach Saban is a great defensive mind."
Harrison becomes commitment No. for the Tide in the 2015 class. He was recruited by Alabama assistant coach Lance Thompson.
