IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I've been thinking about what I want in my school, like a great coaching staff, how they use their running backs, great relationships between the players, a great football program, and academics," Singleton said.

Alabama- "Alabama is obviously a good football program," he said. "That coaching staff, when I went down there, they were just amazing, especially coach Saban. I knew coach Gillespie from North Carolina so I always had a great relationship with him. The players down there were good and the campus is nice. Alabama is a really great school and they produce great running backs."

Notre Dame- "I've been talking to Notre Dame for a while," said Singleton. "Coach Kelly, coach Taylor, coach Rees and all of them are really nice. The whole coaching staff is amazing. I've been up there two times for a game. They've been preaching to me that I'm number one priority for running back. I have a great relationship with the players, especially with Kyren Williams. When I went down there for official he was really nice and he spoke highly about coach Taylor."

Penn State- "I really like how they use a running backs," he said. "Obviously, you can see the running backs in the NFL like Saquon Barkley and Miles Sanders. The coaching staff is amazing and it's really close to home.

"Everything that happened to Journey Brown impacted me a lot because you never know when your last play can happen," Singleton said. "He was really good so he could have been in the league so that just drives me to keep working harder."

Texas A&M- "The coaching staff is amazing," he said. "I've been talking to coach T-Rob for a while. He's a really good coach. He told me I'm his number one priority for a running back also. Coach Fisher and everything was amazing down there. It's a really good school."

Wisconsin- "Wisconsin's coaching staff is obviously amazing," said Singleton. "They do the same thing as Penn State and Notre Dame. I'm their number one priority for running back. The running backs they produce, I could go on forever with that. The players, when I went down there for my official visit, were amazing too. It was a great visit."

RIVALS' REACTION...

Singleton is one of the top backs in the nation and obviously schools from all over the country want him in their backfield. These official visits were very useful for Singleton as he tried to figure out which team would be the best fit for him. This race is coming down to Notre Dame and Penn State and it'll be interesting to see if Penn State is able to keep another in-state prospect home.
