With his commitment coming up later today, Rivals250 defensive lineman Antonio Alfano took some time to preview his decision. The Colonia, N.J. star is choosing between Alabama, Georgia, and Penn State during a ceremony that is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. at his school.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"This decision isn’t easy at all," Alfano said. "These top three schools are neck and neck. It's just going to be about which school I feel most comfortable at and which school could help me succeed the most.

Alabama- "Alabama is a great school," he said. "I like the brotherhood there. It's a like a fraternity with all the players. Alabama is Alabama. They're good year in and year out. They develop players really well there and my dad and I enjoyed our time there.

"I'm closest with coach Josh Gattis, coach Tosh Tupoi, and coach Kool, " said Alfano. "Coach Gattis moving down there from Penn State, we built our relationship even before he was at Alabama. I didn't know coach Kool much when he was at Miami and we never really got to know each other until he got to Alabama.

"I know LaBryan Ray, Raekwon Davis, Daron Payne, Isaiah Buggs, and the whole defensive line," he said. "I was with them when I was down there."

Georgia- "The visit to Georgia was really cool because of the way the made a day just for me to come through even though there was nothing going on that day," Alfano said. "They laid out the red carpet for us and went out of their way to do things for us that they didn't have to do. I really appreciated that."

Penn State- "At Penn State I know a lot of people there and it's close to home," he said. "I've been up there close to ten times. There are just a lot of guys that I'm familiar with that go there, players and students."

RIVALS' REACTION...

Alfano is an athletic specimen that should have plenty of success at the college level if he can stay focused on becoming the best football player he can be. All three schools have shown they can develop talent and have a platform to showcase his abilities while competing for a National Title. Momentum has been going Alabama's way with Alfano for some time and, barring something unforeseen, they will likely be the choice today.
