Pierce Quick, 2019 Rivals100 offensive tackle from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Alabama, announced his commitment on Saturday to the University of Alabama. The decision fulfills a lifelong dream for the in-state star.

"It basically came down to it just being a childhood dream of mine," Pierce said. "I felt like it was the right time after seeing other schools. It was a good opportunity for me."

Quick announced his commitment publically on A-Day weekend. He informed one Alabama coach earlier this week.

"I told Coach Key about my decision on Monday," he said. "I just told Coach Saban a few minutes ago. They are very excited and were welcoming me to the family. It's just one of the best feelings ever. It's a dream come true."

There were a few key reasons for his decision.

"Alabama is the best in the country," Quick said. "There is nothing better. It's always been a childhood dream of mine."
