There are several elite players in Alabama's recruiting class. It was important for the Crimson Tide to add one of the best defensive backs in the country. Alabama signed the No. 1 cornerback on Wednesday in a surprising (to some) upset win against the LSU Tigers. Alabama loses its top six defensive backs from the national championship team. Surtain will have a chance to play right away, but his impact long term is even bigger.
