Nick Saban not ready to name starting QB

Alabama head coach Nick Saban handed out a depth chart, but it didn't answer the biggest question of the offseason.
Who's the starting quarterback?

Saban listed senior Blake Sims and transfer Jake Coker as co-starters on the depth chart released on Monday.
"We're going to continue to rep both guys, we feel like both guys have been doing a really good job," Saban said. "Obviously someone has to start the game and we'll make that decision at some point in time this week. But I think both guys are doing a good job right and we're going to continue to try and develop both of those players at this point."
Throughout the fall, Saban has consistently said that both Sims, the most veteran quarterback on the roster, and Coker, who transferred in from Florida State and enrolled this summer, have not been able to take hold of the starting spot. Saban reiterated Monday that Sims is further ahead in terms of his familiarity with the offense but that Coker has preformed well given the circumstances.
Saban did not specify which quarterback would take the first snap against West Virginia on Saturday nor did he say that both quarterbacks would play for sure. As of this point, Saban says there isn't any uniform plan of how a potential rotation would work.
"We don't have any plans for that as of this point," Saban said. "Whatever pitcher starts the game isn't necessarily going to pitch nine innings."
