Tuesday Insider Report on Alabama Crimson Tide Football
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — After a day off Monday, Alabama returned to the practice field Tuesday for its first practice in preparation of Saturday’s game against Louisiana-Lafayette. Players were dressed in full pads under partly cloudy, 87-degree weather for the workout. Here are some notes from the media viewing period.
— Matt Womack (foot) returned to practice last week and is moving well during drills with the rest of the offensive line. He was playing right tackle on the second-team unit Tuesday.
— Left guard Lester Cotton came up gingerly on a rep but was able to return to the unit one play later. He was replaced by Deonte Brown in the meantime.
— Linebacker Dylan Moses showed no limitations after he was involved in a scary collision with the wall in the end zone Saturday. Moses returned the game later but said Monday that he played with pain his lower back.
