Frierson committed to Miami over offers from Florida, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Oklahoma and several other power five programs.

One of only six players from Miami’s 2018 signing class – which was ranked No. 6 in the nation by Rivals.com – Frierson has played just over ten snaps per game on defense this season. His Pro Football Focus defensive grade is 43.0.
