JC Latham's coaches believe Alabama just landed a future first-rounder

It’s easy to see why Alabama coaches were buzzing over social media after JC Latham committed to the Crimson Tide Friday afternoon. The Rivals100 offensive tackle is currently the second-highest ranked prospect in the Crimson Tide’s 2021 class and has the potential to vault up to five-star status in the future.

Just watch Latham’s impressive highlight tape which features six minutes of him throwing hapless defenders to the turf. Or better yet, ask those who have seen the 6-foot-6, 305-pounder in person.

“I think JC is going to be a top draft pick, and he’s going to be able to contribute his freshman year in college,” said IMG Academy head coach Bobby Acosta. “That’s how highly I think of him. I think he sees himself as the best at that position. I think his upside is still huge. He’s at a level that I haven’t seen, but if he takes the next couple steps, he’s going to be dominant at that position.”
