An underclassman with more than 20 scholarship offers, William Anderson will have plenty of options when it’s his time to sign a letter of intent. Interest in his services seems to expand by the month, making it unlikely that he’s received his final offer. That said, he doesn’t mind naming a few frontrunners as things stand now.

A star defensive end at Georgia’s Dutchtown High School, Anderson says he’s particularly interested in Purdue, Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt at this juncture. He’s visited the first three and hopes to tour Mizzou in the near future. And while he’s nowhere near making a verbal commitment, his opinions are forming quickly.

IN HIS WORDS

--“Right now, it’s Kentucky, Purdue, Vanderbilt and I want to say Missouri

--“I love Kentucky. They treat you like family there. I guess that’s the same at Vanderbilt and Purdue. I haven’t visited Missouri yet so I don’t know on them.”

--“I want to visit Missouri but I don’t know yet. I’m going to go to Auburn and visit but they haven’t offered. They saw me in the spring, so they want me to come up to get a better look.”

--“UGA is my dream. I grew up a fan. That’s the offer I want most.”
