Fan Day schedule announced

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama football team's annual Fan Day is set for Sunday, with Bryant-Denny Staduim's gates opening at 1:30 p.m. and an open practice session kicking off an hour later.
Fans can enter the stadium at gates 11 and 17 and sit in the lower bowl. Practice is scheduled to last about two hours.

At about 4:30 p.m. those who want to participate in the Fan Day autograph session can reach the field through gate 46. Fans who do not wish to view practice and would like to start lining up early can do so beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those fans can enter through gate 46.
The Crimson Tide football team, coaching staff and head coach Nick Saban will be available for autographs on the field for 45 minutes. The gate to the field will be open once the autograph session has been set up. Fans will be limited to one item per person for autographs, and no posed photographs will be permitted.
Beginning at 1 p.m., children can sign up for the Big Al's Kids Club and all fans can register for the Crimson Tide Rewards program outside the west side of the stadium
Soft drinks, water and food items will be available for 50 percent below regular game day prices. Concession vendors will be walking through the stadium and the concession stands on the west side will be open. Alabama merchandise will also be sold on Sunday and 5,000 autograph posters will be given away.
In the event of inclement weather, the practice will be moved to the indoor practice facility and fans will enter through the entrance by track stadium. If the practice is moved inside, a limited number of fans would be allowed in for the viewing. The Fan Day portion and autograph session will also be moved into Coleman Coliseum.
Despite sweltering heat, the 2011 Fan Day drew around 1,500 to the open practice session, with some die-hard fans lining up as early as 2 a.m. to get autographs.
