Dareus, Ingram and Jones all poised to go pro

TUSCALOOSA _ The University of Alabama has called a press conference for noon Friday, when juniors Marcell Dareus, Mark Ingram and Julio Jones are expected to announce their decision to enter the NFL Draft.
Of the three, Jones was the most on the fence but each is projected to be a first-round selection, with Darues the most likely to be a top 10 pick heading into the evaluation period. All three were also limited by an injury this season.

Among those who have considered making the early jump include safety Mark Barron, linebacker Dont'a Hightower, linebacker Courtney Upshaw and wide receiver Marquis Maze, but none are projected to be first-round selections. Upshaw had previous stated that he's staying and Barron is recovering from a torn pectoral muscle, which would likely hinder his draft status.
The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner, Ingram leaves with the Alabama record for rushing touchdowns, 42, and is fourth on the school's all-time rushing list. After missing the first two games due to a knee injury he accumulated 875 rushing yards on 158 carries this season.

Alabama may also announce the addition of Chris Rumph as the new defensive line coach, replacing Bo Davis, who took a similar position at Texas.
