Tommy Brown, four-star offensive tackle from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, committed to the University of Alabama on Friday. It was a long-time coming for the Alabama legacy.
"I knew silently I was going to commit when I got there," Brown said. "We planned it out. The coaches knew we were coming. It was really just to commit there.
"My mom has never been there. She got to see everything. It was like I was going back home. The visit was really for my mom.
