Christian Harris, three-star athlete from University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been a regular in Tuscaloosa this spring. He has taken four visits to Alabama since the start of the year.

Harris returned to Alabama last Saturday for the Tide's spring scrimmage. He is also likely to return on April 21 for the A-Day game.

"It was pretty cool," Harris said. "They had a scrimmage going on that day too. It was pretty cool watching them scrimmage. I liked it a lot. I watched the defense. I like their defense a lot.

"I watched Dylan Moses and Mack Wilson a lot. They are really the only two guys I watched. They play the position they want me to play (inside linebacker). I was just watching to see what they were doing out there.

"I spoke to Dylan. He was kind of tired after scrimmage. I said hey to him. I talked to him on the last visit. He said they will test you and push you to your limits. You have to just keep working and you'll be fine. Keep working and stay focused.

Harris was also joined by family members. He spoke with several coaches who continue to express the importance of him joining the class.

"My mom, dad, my cousin and my grandpa went on the trip," he said. "My grandpa loved it. He was really excited to meet Nick Saban too. He had a great time.

"I talked to Coach Golding, Coach Tosh (Lupoi) and Coach Saban for a little bit. Coach Tosh talked about how much I am needed and how I can do great things there. They see me as an every down guy.

"When it comes to third down they go in the nickel defense. They may have to bring a big DB in. I am good enough to cover. I can be an every down guy for them. I talk to Coach Golding and Coach Tosh a lot. I talk to them almost every day."

Harris does not have any plans for this weekend, but may return to Alabama next Saturday for the A-Day game. He remains open regarding his decision and is not in a rush to make a decision.
