Michael Parker, three-star tight end from Westminster Christian in Huntsville, Alabama, announced his commitment on Wednesday morning to the University of Alabama. Parker received an offer from the Crimson Tide in November.
"I love everything," Parker said in an earlier interview about Alabama. "The facilities are nice. I love the coaching staff. All the players are good. I fit in well with them. I just like everything about it. I grew up an Alabama fan."
Parker becomes the second in-state commitment for Alabama joining Jalyn Armour-Davis, four-star cornerback from St. Paul's in Mobile. Alabama remains in the running for Dominick Anderson, four-star tight end from Arizona Western Community College in Yuma, and Luke Ford, Rivals100 tight end from Carterville High School in Illinois.
"I think Coach Daboll is a great coach," Parker said. "What he does scheme-wise is really good. I am very impressed with the offense so far. It will continue to get better."
