Today we look at the Alabama offense going into practice No. 12. Scroll down for a look at who's impressed us by position as we move towards the midway point of August Camp.

Offensive Review Going Into Practice No. 12

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts returns for his sophomore season at Alabama. As a freshman last season he threw for 2,780-yards and 23-touchdowns. He's looked to of progressed over the spring and summer and is a natural leader. True freshman Tua Tagovailoa is the number two quarterback and the Hawaiian lefty has all the tools to be a capable player in the future.

Running Backs

Now listed on Alabama's roster at 6-foot-2, 235-pounds, there is no reason Bo Scarbrough should not have a monster year for Alabama in 2017. Suffered a leg injury against Clemson, but has looked 100% in August. Damien Harris also returns and he led the team in rushing last year with 1,037-yards, and don't forget about true freshmen Najee Harris, Sophomore Josh Jacobs, and Freshman Brian Robinson. Running Back U is alive and well.

 Receivers and Tight Ends

Another loaded group for Alabama. Calvin Ridley who caught for 72 receptions for 769-yards last year has looked fantastic in August, Robert Foster and Cam Sims look to rise up from this group, Foster is a receiver that has great speed and can stretch the field, Sims is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound target that should cause mismatches inside the red-zone. True freshman Jerry Jeudy was the spring game MVP and continues to wow everyone in practice, he'll see time this year. At the tight end position, Miller Forristall at 6-foot-5, 238-pounds continues to look good in August as well as 6-foot-4, 246-pound Irv Smith.

Offensive Line

Alabama will be massive across the board this year on the offensive line. At left tackle you have sophomore Jonah Williams at 6-foot-5, 301-pounds, the team has a lot of confidence in his ability. At left guard you have Ross Pierschbacher at 6-foot-5, 304 and though he does not get talked about, Pierschbacher is well respected on the team for his solid game. At center you have the heart and soul of the line in Bradley Bozeman at 6-foot-5, 314-pounds, he is everything you want from a leader on the field. The right side of the ball is starting to come together and at right guard you have 6-foot-4, 324-pound Lester Cotton, and at right tackle there looks to be a position battle between 6-foot-7, 326-pounds Matt Womack and true freshman Alex Leatherwood at 6-foot-6, 322-pounds or Jedrick Wills at 6-foot-5, 314-pounds.
